Science Wānanga in Te Hauke
In August 2018 Kahuranaki Marae hosted the sixth annual Otago University - Heretaunga science wāānanga. A noho marae was held where over 40 x Year 8 to 10 Māori science students from various Heretaunga schools experienced a different way of looking at science; hands on at the marae with tertiary science tutors and post-graduate students from Otago University.
