Growing your 'Cultural Responsive Lens'


Indigo Talks is a platform for indigenous leaders to share their experiences in education for teachers working with Maori and Pasifika children. We have four AMAZING speakers coming together to share their experiences, knowledge and world view of education and sharing with schools how to better deliver education. The talks will focus on place based curriculum, using ancestral knowledge to connect and engage learners in the learning process, Hauora/Well-being and the role it plays in education from a Maori World View. 


Attached is a brief profile of each speaker. The event will be on the 8th August 2019 at Heretaunga Intermediate. A light supper will be provided. The doors open at 3:30pm and conclude at 7pm.

Cost : $50 pp Teachers , $80pp outside agencies
